What was the last movie you've seen?

Don't get me wrong, I don't enjoy the Big Bang Theory for a lot of reasons, mostly because I don't find that style of humor funny. It falls into the category of a stereotypical sitcom which is predominant on CBS. I find that type of comedy to be antiquated, but that is just from a personal perspective. A lot of people still enjoy it and that is alright, but for me it just doesn't appeal to me.

I used to hate it with a fiery passion like a lot of people do, screaming to the rooftops about it being blackface for nerds and all that (pretty sure you can see that comment here somewhere on the forums in the past), but now I realize that I spent a lot of effort in trying to hate something, when I could spend zero effort in just not watching it and doing something else. Who am I to be the be-all-end-all for comedic preferences and why should I expect the world to cater to my beliefs?

I wasn't even being snarky J T. Go back and read what I wrote one more time. I asked you an honest question in a non-derogatory way to be sure I was understanding your sentiment correctly.

Nothing wrong with that, so you should hike more and internet less. Your choice. But if someone does not choose nature's isolation over society, nor indulging in hiking over indulging in technology, that does not make that person more "idiotic" than someone who does.

Yes. Let's.

In fact, other than the two sitcoms I mentioned earlier (30-minute traditional format, not including full hour comedies), everything else seems horrendous and forced to me.

Hatred/Hate --- / Hating...not the same. Relax. "Hating" on something is looking unfavorably on something - which is something we all do. You have an opinion on everything you encounter - favorable and unfavorable. ....relax. I don't think anyone is sitting around, stroking a white cat, "Yes, yeeeees, join me in my hatred!" ...relax. or don't.
