So, just a quick question, any ideas for club ideas in 2013? I'm going to be pretty much tied up in January, and as of now there's zero schedule ideas. Members have expressed interest in continuing the club/thread, but no real hard plans have been made. I could always make up a schedule of my own from scratch I suppose... but yeah, any suggestions/tips/anything or requests for the 2013 shmup club here?

Started Stage 2 with 75K exp, and finally got to meet the infamous "Crab Boss" for all of 30 seconds.

Hey C, You're right: I score a lot more Exp on runs when I'm chaining lots of little 1pt cubes and only get the "Big" cubes when I need more time to get another little cube.
Also, I've got to get a good start on Lv1. The game is so much easier when my Fighter is Lv4 at the end of Lv1, and Lv5 at the end of Lv2.

I enjoyed playing these games, and would like to see these return next year:
1. May: Raizing - Great Mahou Daisakusen
2. November: Takumi - Mars Matrix
And, I would like to see a couple of these games added to the list. Whatever you guys feel like playing is fine with me.
1. 19XX.
2. Either UN SQUADRON or PROGEAR.
3. RAIDEN II or RAIDEN D/X.
4. Either RAIDEN FIGHTES or RAIDEN FIGHTERS: OPERATION HELL DRIVE or VIPER: USA / NEW EDITION.
5. Either STRIKERS 1945, or STRIKERS 1945 II, or STRIKERS 1945+.

Died at the train boss...3rd car.
There's this enemy in stage 5 that when destroyed, instantly turns all enemy bullets to +1 cubes. For all intents and purposes, it makes the stage somewhat easier than st4, but also chaotic with gold suddenly appearing everywhere. Usually followed by more bullets. Fun stage.

I think planning by a different dev per month worked really well, and we should do devs that we didn't yet do first.
Also, I don't want to repeat games that we already played this year.

Yeah, I agree that we don't need repeat games. There are plenty of good ones to play still.
I also enjoyed picking by dev, and seeing some new devs (NMK!!!) would be great. I would not mind seeing a few devs return with new games, like Raizing, but if we chose all new devs that would still be fun.
