What was the last movie you've seen?

V (head and shoulders above the rest, no competition at all)

IV

VI
.
.
II, III
.
I
Amen brutha.
This is the exact correct order. The only thing I would add is the actual names of the movies beyond the pointless, anachronistic roman numerals. My personal pet peeve is when someone refers to Star Wars: Episode Vee Eye, and I have to figure which movie they're talking about.

V - The Empire Strikes Back
.
.
IV - Star Wars (aka A New Hope - though no one calls it that.)
.
.
.
VI - Return of the Jedi
.
.
II - Send in the Clones, III Noooooooooooooo!
.
I - Pod Racing with Ethnic Stereotypes

That is the best new naming schema I think I've seen for the prequels.

For me it would go like this....

Everything else
.
.
.
.
.
Still something I forgot
.
.
.
.
.
.
Troll 2
.
.
Star Wars (I-VI)

My boys, however, love Star Wars....oh the fun we have.

Thanks. I try. I was sitting here at work trying to remember the names of the new trilogy movies. Instead of googling it, I just made up new names that fit the movies better.

Wow. Just wow. This movie was pretty amazing. There are scientific concepts here that I was familiar with but never really got to see a movie explore. Fascinating

Also, much like Gravity, this film really makes you marvel at the wonder of space. Where as Gravity though is more visually oriented, and something of a thriller, Interstellar is more focused on telling a fascinating story, yet still succeeding in capturing the wonder and mystery of space like Gravity does. Love both movies

Like Inception though, this movie was LONG and also demands that you pay attention. Nolan doesn't seem to make movies for light viewing. Just not his style

It was pretty decent sci-fi but the plot is so full of holes and paradoxes it just ruined it for me. If you want to see an amazing sci-fi film that is long, intelligent, and truly well written, watch this sometime.

All is Lost. Well this was a great movie up until the final 2 seconds of the film. I actually thought this film was going to have an appropriate and meaningful ending, but then the Hollywood Happy Ending Machine™ kicked in and blew that to hell*. Up until the end though, most of the film was pretty good and made me realize why people enjoy sailing alone on the high sea. This film actually does a lot of foreshadowing correctly in a really cool way, but I won't ruin that. If anybody else has seen this let me know if you know what I'm talking about with the metaphoric foreshadowing.

(*The ending if taken symbolically however could be seen in a totally different light, but I don't think I'm going to give the writer that much credit.)

That long take outside the room.

I think I appreciated that movie more because I had played all three STALKER games first, so all that caution wasn't just "take his word for it" in my mind; I had experienced the horrors of seemingly innocuous areas first hand.

Just don't try watching it with friends. All of us had played the games when we tried in college, but after halfway, a couple of them started to fall asleep. I still haven't finished it as a result.

It is not a film for impatient people without a proper frame of reference. I watched it alone years ago late at night and it blew my mind with its quality. One of those movies that makes you cry in sheer admiration of how astounding it is all put together and filmed. It's a perfect film.

Or it is to me at least. Then again I have slightly different tastes than most folks. My all time favorite film isn't exactly all that popular either.
