I finished a paper a few hours before the deadline and then started relaxing, visiting fun websites instead of the educational ones. Then I realized I hadn't submitted the paper. Woops! Ha ha, it's no good doing the work if you don't turn it in.
Unrelated, I had a Thai beer last night and I feel like death today. Two weekends ago I drank Midori and had the same reaction. Asian alcohols don't seem to agree with me.

Would you do me? I'd do me. I do me so hard.jp1 wrote:You don't give jmustang enough credit. I don't know about Thai beer, but Midori is VERY high in sugar. That can sometimes make a difference.BoringSupreez wrote:Unrelated, I had a Thai beer last night and I feel like death today. Two weekends ago I drank Midori and had the same reaction. Asian alcohols don't seem to agree with me.

It's really difficult to gift wrap a hula-hoop. No matter how you dress it, it still screams "It's a hula-hoop!".
But who really cares as long as it ends up with a woman hooping a hula-hoop? Or is it Hula-ing?
Other thoughts:
I was discussing "college broke" with a good friend of mine this morning. "College broke" means you spend money on all the wrong things. You'll have a fridge full of beer, but will borrow an ID for a free lunch. Bong is packed, but you ask your neighbor for a roll of toilet paper. You have a huge N64 collection, but have to ask a few neighbors "You got a spatula I can bum?".
Why do we still use scales to measure our body weight when we have mirrors? Look at yourself. You're either in shape or not. Overweight or underweight. In my eyes scales only encourage body dysmorphia while also creating a compulsive habit of weighing yourself. Nothing but negatives. Ya know what feels a lot better than seeing that you lost a few pounds? Someone saying "Hey man, you look great!". On a side note, when you notice someone has been working out, let'em know.
I have no interest in the fight tonight and it's not nice to wish ill to others, but I do kinda hope that I wake up with the Yahoo! headline "mayweather paralyzed". F*ck that woman beater.
I'm going to go on for a bit...
My Aunt now has in "house hospice help" (alliteration). We've been told to "not visit", which I'm not okay with, but I do understand some people deal with stuff in different ways. __ I'm very care free, as is my wife and we would rather meet things full throttle than ignore the less than perfect circumstances. In short, we'd rather visit when the woman is still alive. But it is her family's decision, which we will respect.
This time of year is the perfect time to make an incredible fruit salad.
Over many years I still save my P-Wing for the airship on SMB 3.
Kids and adults are still shocked that you can freeze a fly and bring back to life.
NHL 2002 is still the best hockey game ever made.
I had no idea how laborious it is to get into some marathons. You have to "prove yourself worthy" in major marathons just to get a number. No doubt, I love that you do have hurdles to jump to get accepted, just unexpected.

If you drink it straight, yeah. It's more of a liqueur, though, so it's much better as a component of a mixed drink.Luke wrote:And is also VERY terrible.marurun wrote: Midori is VERY high in sugar.

Completely forgot about it this year. Probably for the best since it gets me interested in a bunch of comic series I end up never reading.Nemoide wrote:So Free Comic Book Day was today... as per my annual tradition, I got waaaaay too many comics.

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
Our news played a clip from an American football match last night.....a WOMEN's American football match.
I'm sorry, but I'm going to be rude....WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THE WORLD?
What is this disgusting thing? Why are men wearing battle armor and women are wearing the sports equivelant of a metal bikini? This is so degrading, and I don't know if it's more degrading to the women playing or the men watching.
(disclaimer: I'm pretty extremely liberal when it comes to the subject of sexuality, my problem here is how clearly objectified the women are, while the men get to wear normal clothes. either both sexes play naked (like the ancient Olympics
) or both have clothes, not this kind of thing.)
