What RPG are you playing right now?
Re: What RPG are you playing right now?
Within the past few days I already have 10+ hours of playtime on Tales of Graces f. Not that far in the story though. Some of that time includes me browsing online and a lot of it includes me doing a bit of grinding just to ensure things remain relatively smooth on hard mode. And besides, the battle system in this RPG is actually fun.

I have Tales of the Abyss arriving this week. Couldn't find it anywhere in Maine, had to order it on Amazon and wait a week for it to get back in stock. Looks like another game with a low print run, apparently the gougers have been buying multiple copies and trying to sell them for $70 on ebay.
(and of course after looking everywhere in my state I was able to find a copy in a GameStop in Massachusetts this weekend

In FFIV, once you're in the Tower of Zot, is there any going outside and leveling? Is this close to the end?

You've still got a ways to go.Stark wrote:In FFIV, once you're in the Tower of Zot, is there any going outside and leveling? Is this close to the end?

Ah, the fun of thinking you may be near the end but you really aren't.
That reminds me of how the opposite was true with FFXII for me. I did not grind at all. I did not read a guide. And I did not think that the final boss was the final boss, haha... When I finished that game I just thought... Huh? That was the end?
Still my least favorite FF game.

I don't know why I never played this before, but I am now and it is awesome.MrPopo wrote:You've still got a ways to go.Stark wrote:In FFIV, once you're in the Tower of Zot, is there any going outside and leveling? Is this close to the end?

Love the genere but don't think I will ever spend any significant amount of time with an RPG ever again. Not unless I retire tomorrow

FFIV I am on my way to the Tower of Babil. Really enjoying this.

You're still not at the end. Awesome game, though, right? This is one of the games I wish I could forget all about and then discover anew.Stark wrote:FFIV I am on my way to the Tower of Babil. Really enjoying this.

I put 18 hours into Tales of Graces f in three days. That's a lot of time considering I'm not a little kid anymore and actually have a full time job and such.
Currently playing on evil difficulty and trying to unlock chaos. The battle system is fun enough that I actually like the challenge. I don't mind doing the same boss multiple times until I figure out the right strategy.
