When you think about it, you can't play a dreamcast without some noise...
...
......
..get it?..
....because of the CD drive being... you know.....loud?

That joke goes nowhere, it's just spinning in circles.

You'll be good. It was the final batches that were affected by the anti-piracy measures. I've heard rumours that it only affected a small number of Japanese Dreamcasts and was never implemented in PAL or North American regions. Not sure if that's true or not though.

I am planning to re-launch noiseredux vs. Dreamcast... but when I find some time to do so. Like I had mentioned, I have about half the old articles archived, and I may update some of them as I re-up them. And I've got to set things up in the game room so that I can easily take screen shots from my DC like I used to. So again, when I find the time to do so.

But I just want to mention a bit more on NFL 2K. I know it's not the most interesting conversation to some gamers, but I do feel that many sports games are a good way to look at video game technology through the years. And while I had mentioned things like the snow, the animations and so on, one thing that really kept impressing me through the season was the announcers. I actually found more variety in what was being said, and that the dialogue actually matched up with what was happening appropriately far more than games released some years later (Madden 08 being fresh in my head). This really creates an illusion that you're playing a game that's being commented on in real time rather than just hearing the same exact vague comments over and over. Impressive.

Good for you Noise. I know you talked to me a little bit about diving back into the Dreamcast, but I think I'll say it here too. I'm proud of you. The Dreamcast is a joyful little character. You can't go wrong with its tantalizing offerings. I'm excited to see the NoiseDreamCab in the future.

The blog was great, perhaps we can revive the Dreamcast challenge thread as well. And we'll have to knock out some rappies out again.

How much is Under Defeat for a Dreamcast copy of the game. I can't imagine it's cheap.

it's not tooo bad. Floats in the $60-$70 range.

I was thinking about the Dreamclub too. We had some fun in that thread. Alpha 3, Pod Racers...
