It is called hagwalah and it is fucking stupid. Goofing around on an abandoned street or in a field where you're only endangering yourself your friends is one thing. Doing it in the middle of traffic and with people standing around in crowds on the side of the road is just fucking dumb, as are the people standing by the side of the road. If you fuck up or something breaks and you're a dumb mother fucker without your seatbelt on, shit like this happens (NSFW - death and dismemberment).
In the middle of a dogfight in Battlefield 3, this guy ejects from his jet, fires a bazooka at his opponents jet and blows it up, then manages to re-enter the cockpit of his own jet after the fall, and fly away to safety.
