Go watch MADE if you haven't already.

Also, watch every episode you can of Dinner for Five.

There's one really fantastic episode where Jennifer Garner shoots eye daggers at both Ben Affleck and Kevin Smith. Ben has basically stated that Jennifer ruined his relationship and longtime friendship with Kevin (Kevin says the same). Also to note, Ben was engaged during this episode, and Jennifer was married. Didn't stop them from hitting on each other.

You're right, that was harsh. I shouldn't knock the guy. After all, he's got such lovely bones.
Lovely Bones, but they're kind of feeble.

Watch now!
Ack posted a Raid 2 trailer earlier, but I think this one's even better and gives a good sense of how awesome a movie it is:

That trailer seemed to get less circulation than the other one. Also, this Raid 2/Enter the Dragon trailer mash up is great:

I just watched The Raid. I must be missing something...I found it to be badly paced, overly silly/ridiculous, predictable, and poorly acted and directed. Everything seemed super-convoluted, fake, and kinda boring to watch (I had to fight drifting asleep). An action film with style over substance is fine when there's actually some interesting style. I don't get the appeal, unless this is supposed to be a "so bad it's good" kind of thing, but typically I can enjoy those films too.

yeah, yeah. but the fight scenes were truly over long and unbelievable. There were too many of them and they were all pretty similar. Some gruesome deaths, sure, but more air kicking and celery crunching than a hippie dance party.

oh I don't care about the movie. I'm not a fan of the 'action' genre, and have zero interest in The Raid series. I just think it's funny that so much stuff puts you to sleep.

In fairness I'd just eaten a giant plate of Rigatoni.

Every movie needs more Mad Dog. I can not say that with more clarity.

Two seconds of Mad Dog is better than two hours of Jackie Chan.
