Very nice! I also hope that Zanac will be staying around...that game is awesome.

.....

Apparently, there is a "Buy 2 Get 1" sale on used Wii games at Gamestop right now...making this week an even better time to pad out your Wii collections. I stopped by a local store earlier today and picked up:

Baroque;
Flingsmash;
Haunted House;
Heatseeker;
Ninjabread Man;
Pajama Sam: Don't Fear the Dark;
Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball;
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer; and
Worms: A Space Oddity.

for a grand total of $31.

I recognize that some of these - Ninjabread Man and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer - are terrible games, but I like the concepts too much to resist them.

Interesting. Assuming you're playing that on a NAOMI? Legit copy, not net boot? If so, I swear that game was locked to JPN bios region. This list says it is as well. http://www.sega-naomi.com/bios.htm

Either way, nice get!
I am playing it on a Naomi CF setup. I do have a GD-Rom setup, but I like the ease of the CF reader and no more ware and tear on the disc and GD Drive. Basically I chose the CF route for my Big Blue as it will never come out of my cab.
Nice. If you're running a US bios, I'm willing to wager that someone patched the image before making the CF. I always run a JP bios anyway. Either way, nice setup :) My NAOMI does not live in a cab, at least yet. Maybe one of these years I'll get a candy cab and put the NAOMI in that.

Need FreeMCboot? I'll install it on your PS2 Memory Card for free if you cover postage both ways.
Consoles: I have too much stuff
Arcade: No seriously, I have too much stuff. Someone grab a shovel and dig me out of my basement.

Picked up a Genesis 2 with two controllers for $10. Too bad it didn't have a plug or AV cables. Luckily, I had a game gear plug and I picked up AV cords for $4.

I'm trying to flip it (I always preferred Non-TMSS high-Def Graphics Genesis) but I can use it as a discussion piece if I don't. I've never actually seen/owned a Model 2 Genesis.
Systems Owned: NES, Sega Genesis (Non-TMSS), Game Boy, Game Gear, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis (Model 2), PlayStation, N64, Sega Dreamcast, GBA SP, Xbox, Playstation 2, Gamecube, Xbox 360, Wii, Playstation 3, PSP, Nintendo 3DS

Genesis don't really have high resale value, unless you get the console super cheap. I had a hard time selling my Model 1 with hookups, until someone on CL offered me $30 (paid $8)

Flip it over, see if you have the 2/3 motherboard or not (if you see solid silver metal through the vent in the top right it's a full motherboard if it's only partially metal it's the 2/3). That model has pretty decent sound and somebody might be interested.

Other than that the Genesis 2 is more common and less sought after so you're probably not going to make much of a profit off of it. It's not quite a conversation piece like the second models of the NES and too a lesser degree the SNES. Genesis 2s are everywhere.

It's nice to have one if you're going to add the 32X and Sega CD though, since working model 2 Sega CDs are easier to find and 32X-to-Genesis 2 cables are easier to find.

Finally completed my Assault Suits series collection. Target Earth and Cybernator have always been two of my favorite games. Initially I just wanted the original Japanese version of Valken but one thing lead to another.

Very cool. I still have none of those, but want them all. Were you aware of the update to Valkens by Psikyo, on the PS2, with an extra "Stage 0"?

I got it for $10. If I can make $15, I'll be happy. Reselling isn't really my thing.

Oddly enough, this I the first Model 2 Genesis I've really seen. Everyone I knew had a model one when I was a kid.

(It does look nice next to the PS1...I may keep it...or pass it on to my nephew when my sister visits next month)
