It'll be eighteen dollars.
Here you go keep the change.

Unfortunately my brain is scrambled to the point that when someone says "Thank you!" I have to say "Come again!". And when on a walk with my dog and someone says "Hi Doggy!" I have to respond with "You're my favorite customer".

Technically belongs in the smile/frown thread, but continuing the conversation here.MrPopo wrote:This is on local box testing; again it gets down just fine, I just can't get it to go back up. It doesn't help that this is extremely new technology that doesn't have a lot of good examples out there, especially for Java to Java communications. Most of the examples are Java server and JS client.
I figured out the problem; namely my integration tests that were exercising this code apparently were suppressing the output from the server process, so from my perspective the client would publish and it would go out into the aether. When I spun things up locally (and added a different place to do the send code that would trigger on that configuration) it all worked. So it's been working since yesterday (minus a serialization bug on the payload) but I had no evidence as such.

My daughter has seen Frozen too many times. This morning I told her I was sick of all the snow and she replied with "the cold never bothered me anyway."

Seriously though, you do have other Disney musicals on hand somewhere, right? I mean, she'd probably want to watch them over and over again too, but at least the soundtrack of your life will have a bit more variety in it beyond Let It Go.

actually yeah, me too. My wife's been upgrading her Disney VHS collection to DVD for several years now. I'm sure we've got VHS dupes we don't need. I can take a look if you want, Bone.Luke wrote: If you have a functioning VHS player... I can show you the world.

Haha thanks guys but there's no need. I do have a VHS player (doesn't everyone on a retro forum?) and the local Goodwill has these movies for $1 apiece. I was actually looking at them today! I'll snag some next time I go.
I will say though - Frozen is my favorite Disney movie... Ever.

Nope. Years ago when DVDs came out I kicked VHS to the curb. (I've since kicked DVDs to the curb in light of better technology as well.)BoneSnapDeez wrote:(doesn't everyone on a retro forum?)
