Yeah I really liked it too.pierrot wrote:It's so good, though; like a modern Hitchcock film.

Frown: Amazon is still jerking me around about my stolen GiftCard. I didn't have time to focus on it last week and I just contacted them to get status and they want me to go to the retailer, which I know for a fact will get me nowhere. I guess I'm going to have to do it anyway though, just to say I did.
So LAME!

I do B2B sales with Amazon (millions of dollars in sales, no small operation). If you'd like I could rattle some cages. Shoot me a PM and I should be able to help out, soon.Stark wrote:Frown: Amazon is still jerking me around about my stolen GiftCard. Smile: Killed my first meeting as council chair. As with almost everything, I go a bit crazy nervous before the hours that lead up to a presentation/performance/meeting/etc., but as soon as I sit down/grab the mic/bust out a P&L/etc., I'm as calm as a cucumber.
Weird how that works. I sometimes physically shake with excitement before and after presentations, but during them it's like a switch goes off in both body and mind and I have a level of clarity that only pressure could bring. Sometimes I even think I procrastinate on purpose as I know I work better under pressure.
But stepping out of a meeting is the same as stepping off the stage for me. Such a rush. I've spent my life trying to make others proud, but to be serious and somewhat self-centered, the best feeling is being proud of yourself. Don't think it hurts to give yourself a pat on the back every now and then, but don't get cocky.

How long has the cat been missing? If it hasn't been that long, maybe he's hiding in the house some where. I know it sounds stupid, but I've had this happen to me before. Some one left the back door open for a while and I couldn't find one of the cats. I assumed he got out. I looked in every room several times, every where I could possibly look. I was 100% sure the cat got out. Then a few hours later, the cat showed up inside the house. He was just in a VERY good hiding spot.oxymoron wrote:- My cat ran away. I checked the local shelters, veterinary clinics, and asked my neighbors but no luck. The weird thing is that no one let him out. I'm going to put fliers tomorrow. Wish me luck.
But anyway man, that sucks. Hope you find him.

I had something similar happen, only without the open door. I couldn't find my cat anywhere. Eventually after going over the house for the third time I heard a little meow, and it turned out she had snuck in to the cabinet under my bathroom sink while I was grooming, I didn't notice, and shut the door on her.Ziggy587 wrote:How long has the cat been missing? He's been gone since yesterday morning. I've looked in every hole big enough to fit him in the house but he's nowhere to be found. The good thing is he was a semi-outdoor cat so he knows where home is. I just hope a coyote doesn't get to him before we do. We live close to the mountains so that's a big concern. Anyways, that's for the advice you guys.MrPopo wrote:I had something similar happen, only without the open door. I couldn't find my cat anywhere. EDIT:
@Luke
I placed a big bowl of food for 'em outside last night. I looked in the morning and it was untouched.
