watched Dune. it was called the "extended version" but it still left out some scenes like when the baron spits on pauls' mother's face.

I just watched "State of Play". It had some big plot problems, but at least it was entertaining. It's not a great movie, but at least I was hoping it would wrap up after 90 minutes instead of five, as I was with "Avatar".

Excellent, not sure if you are talking about the Sting version or the long Sci-fi version. I still love the Sci-fi version and own the extending edition of that (if you can believe there is an even longer version). Children of Dune is even better.

Good call, I forgot his name though and didn't feel like looking it up. Regardless, most people on the planet sadly recognize the movie immediately as the one with Sting in it. If you say the David Lynch version, they will ask, which one was that, the one with Sting in it?

Just saw The Hangover. It was pretty funny, made me chuckle a few times. I still liked Superbad better. Maybe I could relate to two dorky ass characters getting into a troublesome situation that all works out in the end a little easier. Still, I am not the biggest fan of comedies and I think Superbad and The Hangover are the funniest I have seen in a while.

After the first five minutes I was pretty much waiting for the film to be over. It was remarkably unentertaining. It was a big-budget blockbuster. I expected it to be dumb, cheesy, good-looking, and entertaining. It only succeeded in the first three.

just saw the movie myself
well about 30 min of it
i couldn't get over how much it cost for an terriable story
i believe it would have been cheaper to make an animated film
and it would have made close to what it did if james cameron's name was on it
