Naw, the best was when both Eddie and Benoit held the titles at the end of the show. Of course, in hindsight it's a bit morbid, but at the time it was incredible and that moment can never be topped.Gamerforlife wrote:BEST GODDAMN WRESTLEMANIA EVER!!!!

Well, wrestling has long been called soap operas for men, so i guess this is the natural evolution of that.BurningDoom wrote:First it's A.J. Re: The Wrestling Thread
It wouldn't be so bad if the romance stuff was actually done well. Even action movies for dudes have some kind of love story in them. And what about classic games like Double Dragon? It was all for a women
I mean remember all the classic stuff involving Miss Elizabeth in the old days? The thing I hate about a lot of wrestling romances though is that they almost always end in a betrayal and someone going heel. Kind of predicable. Oh and AJ is not even remotely cool in my eyes anymore now that I've seen her kissing Cena. I've read that the AJ/Cena stuff and the Del Rio/what's her name thing is WWE's lame attempt to draw in more female viewers. God knows they could use more viewers of any kind at all right now given the crap ratings.
I think well done romances can work in a wrestling environment. You can give some guys something to feud over besides titles, and male viewers can certainly relate to guys fighting over a woman.

Good WWEShop code as they're having another DVD sale. RAW123 gets you 20% off if your order is more than $10 and also FREE shipping.
I picked up Hell in a Cell 2012 (yes, just released) for $9.99 before the 20% off - as well as blu-rays of the rock's DVD and rumble '11. Solid prices before you use the code so worth checking out imo.

Kicking out took me a bit to get used to because it isn't mentioned how anywhere and you can't really practice per se.
I've downloaded CAWs for Owen Hart, Jim Niedhart, Sid Vicious and then Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Kassius Ohno. I try to sort by most downloaded instead of "what's hot" so it doesn't skip older and better CAWs.
Also the second (counting day 1 DLC as the first) DLC came out yesterday - Ryback, Tensai, McIntyre, Tatsu, AJ Lee and a bunch of other belts. Oh and Undertaker's Ministry of Darkness outfit (so that guy shows up as a downloaded character - and he is awesome).

Re: The Wrestling Thread
So with Punk's knee injured, has it been confirmed they're going to go with Shield vs. Ryback and Team Hell No in a TLC match? Seems like that's the hot rumor. I was contemplating getting the PPV before Punk got hurt - probably won't now, although I'm intrigued by the main event just from getting to see Ambrose work.
I really enjoy Brandon Stroud's work and this week's RAW recap title is my favorite ever:
The Best And Worst Of WWE Raw 12/3/12: CM Punk, In The Case Of 32-Year Old The Miz, You Are NOT The Father

Re: The Wrestling Thread
I recently stumble across a old WWF saturday morning VHS tape. And on it was kevin nash beating bob backland in 8 seconds. It got me to thinking when in the 2000's+ did a major title change hand at a house show??And be reported it change hands,i know booker t and chris benoit traded the WCW tv title at some house shows.

Re: The Wrestling Thread
Did it have the entire match or do you mean a news report about the change? I have that MSG house show from a fan cam on DVD - quality is pretty average but most notable (besides the 8 second match) is Backland cutting what felt like a 20 minute promo. It was terrible.
