Samurai Jack Season One for $2.00

 Nice Find on Samurai Jack, I love the series!

Kirby Dream Collection Sealed Used - Swap for unsealed copy - Gamestop
I found another Gamestop that has brand new copies of Kirby Dream Collection with the game still sealed inside. For the picture, I ripped a piece of the shrink wrap to show it was sealed. The employee let me swap an unsealed CIB floor display that I bought last week. Not as great a deal as the Best Buy or competitor price match, but at least the used price is now more palatable considering the game is new. Still weird how Gamestop retags new games as used. I finally figured out the Woodcut look of the game case cover. The Art Book is full of interesting trivia, it describes how it matches Paulowina Wood gift box of Japan SNES Kirby Superstar.

PS2 VGA Cable - $3.00 BookOff
A very very nice find on a Sony 1st party Linux VGA cable. I have owned HD Xploder which converts games to 1080i and VGA for a while and now can finally see if the PS2 will work on a VGA monitor.

The trick will be to dual hookup to a regular TV and VGA monitor to see the screen prompts. I'm thinking a Guncon adapter will allow both Composite and VGA connections at the same time. Come to think of it just maybe like the Dreamcast Lightgun, the Guncon might work with the Xploded games on a CRT monitor? The VGA scan rate 640x480 resolution is lower then a 120hz HDTV so just maybe it might work? :?

Blood Wake - $5.00 BookOff
I have been loading up on Xbox games that have not been released on any other console. This game is also unique, there are not that may "PT Boat" games out there. Imagine Hydro Thunder, no limited race course and with weapons installed. The torpedos are very satisfying, watching the enemy boats exploding up in the air out of the water.

Gyromite Import Adapter Cart - $5.00 Thrift Store
This was buried in a plastic box inside a glass locked cabinet display of cart games, always good to ask an employee to pull the tray. I now own five Gyromite Import Adapter carts, handy for Famicom multi game bootleg carts. Note the cart label for a difference over a regular Gyromite game, a dead giveaway if the pin tips are hard to see.

A friend of mine recently gave a box of games his sister's friend found at their parents house. Just asking that they go to a good home. In the box was a Nintendo Action set, with the box, paperwork, and baggies. Several Sports games boxes for the N64 and SNES. And the following NES games, almost all with manuals:
Casino Kid
Ninja Gaiden
Mario/Duck Hunt
Mario 2
Mario 3
Total Recall
Kirby Adventure
Zelda 1
Zelda 2
Tetris 2
MLB Baseball
Anticipation
Little Mermaid
Tiny Toons 2
Wrestlemania Challenge

Several of these will end up in my trade list or into the auction this fall.

If the steam key has been activated on that HL2, you basically bought some nice coasters.

Nah I checked, hasn't been activated!

They had about seven identical copies there, maybe liquidated stock from somewhere?

The other month I picked up one of ten Everquest II's.

How did you check?

If you tried redeeming it and did not own it, it would have activated.

If you own it and tried to redeem it, if gives you the message that you own the game, but does not check if the key is active or not.

At present, unless something changed and I missed it, you can't check if a key is valid unless you try to activate the game on an account that does not have it.

Unless the game is sealed?

Pretty sure the game is new/never been played. Whatever the case, got it up and running fine w/ Steam.

Yesterday I found a Vita (wifi) at the pawn for $100. So I told my nephew and he asked my mom if he could borrow the money and she said yes but asked me to go this morning when they opened to see if they had it.

They had it and this is the pawn that gives me discounts.

So I got for a my nephew a Vita for $80. No games but I already had him uncharted and golf from other deals. Then I got home and was looking at it and it has a 4gb card in it. 4gb aint much but still it had a card.

Came with Original box, charger, and 4gb card and no scratches on the screen
