QFT. Some of the best Thai/Japanese/Asian-etc. food I've ever had was quite lacking in presentation compared to countless subpar yet visually attractive offerings.Luke wrote: I spoke with my favorite Itamae (at a different restaurant of course) and he explained that besides a few customers, everything is "Westernized" as to be successful in this area flavors and textures need to be toned down.

Pad Thai is the name of a specific dish, not a variation in regional style of a 'national' food type like Mexican food versus Tex-Mex.Aramonde wrote:What's the difference between Thai & Pad Thai?

Closest thing I've had to Pad Thai:Hobie-wan wrote:Pad Thai is the name of a specific dish, not a variation in regional style of a 'national' food type like Mexican food versus Tex-Mex.Aramonde wrote:What's the difference between Thai & Pad Thai?

Moira seems to be doing well so far, she's at Day -4 for transplant and she was only ill on Day -6. They're starting another one of the drugs today though (ATG), so we'll see how she does on that! It's apparently from a rabbit, which is better than when they used to get it from horse. SCIENCE! So weird.
