Your assumption is false. I have lived above the 60th parallel during winter. I can deal with snow and ice fine, but prefer not to.

Did you live through winters at that lattitude? Were you of drinking age?

Schnapps was the best part of giving up alcohol. I take solace in the fact I will never drink schnapps again. Not that I ever really did, except that one time with "Avalanche". I still get sick to my stomach at the thought.

I'm sitting in an edit bay with a producer friend of mine watching as a commercial for an upcoming TBS series is put together. Sometimes I think I have one of the coolest jobs in the world.
