I've always wanted to play that game, but yeah, the 64DD is expensive and I can't read Japanese. I'm hoping to one day have a decent 64DD emulator available or a way to turn the games off an N64 flash cart and a translation patch for that game, but I wont hold my breath. Either that, or I become super rich and learn to read Japanese.
I loved the SNES version of SimCity, and this looks like the same idea, just in 3D. I'm in the same boat—I've always wanted to play it, but 64DDs seem to go for $500+ and I'm unaware of any 64DD emulation.
I was fortunate enough to purchase a N64DD off of a forum member on DigitPress for $200. I knew I had to swipe it cause I would probably never find it at that price again. Since the N64 is one of my favorite consoles, I knew I had to have one.

So many good things! Love the solid metal toolbox, maybe a good size as a soldering iron storage kit?
