Yes. No one could expect to pay $15.00 per tire.

In my limited experience, alignments and balances are free if you purchased the tires at the same place.

Depends on the place. I had tires put on over the holidays (dad insisted, and paid for them). They offered to do an alignment, but I'd just had it done a couple weeks prior. It would have been an additional cost. Mounting and balancing was part of the labor.

'course, there can be ways around that too...my initial set of replacement tires was on new wheels as well, Tire Rack mounted/balanced them free (if I recall), and I swapped them on myself.

I'd spring for an alignment fee on new tires.

:? Sometime back in October I was putting my daughter in the backseat of my car. In the process of doing so I managed to slam my mouth very hard against the door. It was painful, lotsa blood. My mouth ached for some time, but eventually the pain went away and I went about my day. Anyway, went to the dentist today and she asks, "What happened to your molar....?" Turns out one of my teeth is completely busted up - a huge chunk is missing. I had no idea! $500 to get it fixed.

Smile: On Monday I decided to go ahead and take a shot at the CCNA security cert and scheduled it for earlier today. Then I proceeded to cram a month's worth of studying into four days. It wasn't pretty and I think I broke my soul a little but I managed to pass this afternoon. That's 3 Cisco certs in less than a month.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

  : This week fucking blowed over all. In addition to banging up my truck, one of my two show steers died last night from a heart attack, and my college application is being rejected because my transcript was sent in separately at a later date. Neither the college or my school counselor, who helped me with the application and personally sent the transcript, informed me that it was also required to be given in before the deadline.

Not a single damned thing to smile about.
