Indeed. We'll create a fix for someone using our software and then will play phone tag forever trying to patch whatever's broken in their database. They either don't have time or won't call us back. Or sometimes I'll connect remotely to look as something that's "urgent" but then they won't stop doing stuff on the PC so I can look.

Driving to work and some guy pulls out in front of me when it was a near blizzard out. Went into the ditch... Dug myself out, 1 hour late to work. Awesome day!

I walk down to the woman's department that opened the original ticket, ask her if she has a quick second to show me where the rest of the PCs are, which she just says "no" and walks away.
Ohhhhh god that would piss me off. i probably couldn't work in a place like that because if that would have happened to me i would have yelled "DO YOU WANT ME TO FIX YOUR MACHINES OR NOT!!!!!"

This Patriotic Puppy is celebrating her 14th Birthday today (that's 98 in human years some how).

Words can't express how much I love this pooch. She's basically singing her swan song, so this is a big deal for my wife and I. We've had Ripley since the beginning of our relationship, so she's like our baby. A spoiled rotten baby at that.

In honor of Ripley, she'll be eating a liverwurst cake tonight. That's a slice of liverwurst, a layer of mayo, repeat.

It's neat to think that your dog is as old as a few of our members.

Smile: Did a nasal culture swab yesterday for Moira and it came back negative! So we're on for conditioning tomorrow. Takes place over 6 days and we'll have transplant on the 17th. Wish us luck!

:( : Huge water ban close by which is going to make things pretty chaotic for a while. Water company has no idea when things will be back to normal at this point and the side effects are pretty bad :X.
West Virginia DHHR says symptoms include: severe burning in throat, severe eye irritation, non-stop vomiting, trouble breathing or severe skin irritation such as skin blistering.
My Aunt took a shower in the stuff before the water company sent out notice :X. She is right by the Elk river and says the smell was so bad you could hardly stand being by it.

To make matters worse people swamped the stores last night and bought up the majority of the drinking water in the areas effected :P.
