I'm always happy for the spring forward. Winter is so depressing with how early it gets dark out here.
Re: Random Thoughts Thread
See, but at least with the string format of dates the underlying representation is the same, it's just your format string that differs. With Arizona I need to not only know the local timezone but whether or not I'm in Arizona.ZeroAX wrote:Now you know how us metric/Euro programmers feel by having to put up with software standardized to stupid date formatsMrPopo wrote: Now I have to make sure my date checking routines account for the fact that my software might be running in Arizona so I don't get things off by an hour.

Indeed, I'd love to get some sweet, sweet pie out of her replicator anytime, if you know what I mean.Luke wrote:Hot stuff. Counselor Deanna Troi was too cute.

I have no clue what you mean. But I will say "Troi" looks pretty damned sexy, and much sexier than kk, who looks like a mannequin version of the STTNG star. Jeez, this is going to make me sound like a jerk, but Troi's boobs? So much sexier.Ack wrote: if you know what I mean.

So Sony Pictures announced that an all male Ghostbusters film is coming out after the all female Ghostbusters film.
I'm kind of beside myself at the sheer audacity and absurdity of this announcement.
