Welcome to the show. I'm afraid we're out of punch and cookies at the moment, but please find yourself a seat at a table with some of the other guests.

Trying to bolster up my SNES and Gameboy collection of rare gems and hard to find games.
I like that avatar. That was a good ad.

Indeed it was, although I never actually tried them. The dance and song was hilarious though.

Welcome home, Nihilist! Retro is where is at - but don't overlook the new stuff just 'cuz it's new! There are so many awesome current-gen games that are inspired by retro masterpieces! (Shank, Super Meatboy, VVVVVV, bit trip saga, and so so many more...)

Warmest welcome I have ever seen on any forum.

I will look into those games

Hey everyone. Been a fan of the site for a while and decided I was to become a further part of the community.
I am a huge Sega fan (more so for their hardware and arcade titles), as well as a big PC Engine fan. I love all kinds of games from all different systems and developers but the Sega and PC Engine consoles get most of my attention.

Been a fan of the site for awhile, finally decided to join the forums! I have a web show called The Gaming Historian where I talk about the history of video games.
So...hello!

A nice looking blog, clean and simple just how I like it. I especially like your logo, clever!
Anyways,
Hello everyone! I've always had a love for retro gaming and still own all of my systems and games right back to the Atari 2600, but I really became passionate about it roughly 8 months ago.
I'm one of those guys that won't use Ebay or online retailers to find my items, I like to find my stuff "out in the wild" so to speak at either thrift shops, garage sales, flea markets or local retro brick and mortar shops. I will use Kijiji, since it is local people and I have to go get the item in person. A huge part of the fun for me is the thrill of the hunt.
Right now my main collecting focus has been on SEGA hardware and pre-NES hardware, right now I'm on the hunt for a Colecovision and in the summer I found a boxed Odyssey 2 which was a highlight.
I discovered Racketboy back in I want to say November through Retro Gaming Roundup and I joined the forums in late December. Being it was the holidays I got quite busy so I am just now putting this account to its proper use.
I look forward to getting to know everyone and having a fantastic place to talk about a passion we all share.
