Only games I've ever gotten rid of are dupes. And most of those I simply gave away.

Yes. Be aware that the prices for these vary and none are "cheap." In fact, my converter was more than the AES itself. (I have this:)

As far as the Amiga goes........ Good luck. I occasionally poked around eBay for about a year before I found one whose price, condition, and completeness were to my liking. Be aware that if you try to cut corners by purchasing one that lacks a power supply or television adapter you may have a reeeeeally hard time finding those accessories listed on their own. I have no less then seven of those old non-IBM computers and the Amiga is by far the hardest to find stuff for...

I went on GOG and was happy to see they had Theme Park and Theme Hospital both available on OSX for $2.39 apiece. Classics for me so it's great to have them on my laptop now!

In the last few days I found Mega Man GB for $7 and Bubble Bobble GB for $5, original releases, perfect stickers/plastics/pins all around on both which surprised me.

I don't look much anymore, not worth it. :) The last thing was maybe 2-3 weeks ago I found Steel Empire Genesis(game) for $7, and Zelda Minish Cap for $18 and I think $6 for Game & Watch Gallery 4 both GBA games.

I've not pursued old games this year so far. And only to play with my nephews online I bought back Destiny, found the Taken King used with all DLC intact for $15 so I went for it.

What I have been doing and it's now done through January, was going after original CIB amazing condition all around Gameboy's, specifically Gameboy's I once owned. I won't paste images in here, but if you click the link at the bottom and go right you can see.

- Gameboy 1989, CIB, unused headphones and link cable -$40 shipped
- Gameboy Pocket, cardboard box CIB (found last weekend for $20 locally) system had new batteries, 100% spotless.
- Gameboy Pocket launch plastic clamshell, unbagged papers/manual - $45 shipped
- Gameboy Advance SP Classic NES Edition $50, spotless other than 3-4 small scratches on the battery cover.

The top one I got for Christmas in 1989, the clamshell I paid for myself when it arrived so I wanted those as I got them and as perfect as possible and stuck sheer luck. The GBP in the case had a scratched up back a bit above the cart slot and the lens wasn't 100% either with sticker bleed/scuffs off screen. I'm not keeping both, so I took the plastic case and best GBP, kept that, put the other on ebay to break even. :) The Classic NES system I couldn't leave there, it was alone, but whatever, I've seen what the box goes for -- not interested and it wasn't the launch one. I'll have to find an immaculate CIB Glacier GBA to round out things. I do have a GB MIcro CIB too, the gray/black one, just not pictured.

I've got Amazon Prime for this month queued up to get that 20% discount on Mega Man Legacy 3DS and Uncharted 4 when that arrives later. I've got nothing else I intend to acquire on purpose until March or April at the earliest unless I bump into stuff. I'm trying to be good and buy less, play more this year.

My Goal this year is to be <$40 a month. I think we want to save up for a trip to Japan, to go in 2017. Required pilgrimage sites: Dobuita Street, Yokosuka; Akihabara (Club Sega, Super Potato); eating all the various Kit-Kats, and obviously seeing the culture outside of the lens of gaming. We haven't decided on what time of the year we want to go, but we're open to suggestions. Therefore, I'm scaling back my gaming purchases.

So here's what I've picked up this year so far:

January:
Yakuza 5 - PS3 - $40

February:
Project X Zone 2 - Nintendo 3DS - $5 (Amazon Gift Card Balance!)

Doing fine so far.

I keep thinking I have reached the bottom of the PS1's library, but I keep finding cool, new games:

This game collects some of the most popular video slot machines, and while the gameplay is not very deep, it is nonetheless a pretty cool collection (that I did not know existed until a few minutes before I bought a CIB copy for $2).

When I scrolled down and saw the title/artwork I thought "this has gotta be published by Agetec, right?" I was wrong!

I tried crawling to the bottom once. The endless PlayStation abyss only laughed at me. It doesn't end, I warn you turn back, IT DOES NOT END
PLAY KING'S FIELD.

I know. I do not collect imports, and I still have 300+ NTSC PS1 games in my collection and 118 games on my want list!

Wow, and I thought I had a lot of PSX games. I've got well over 100, mostly RPGs. I really do need to track down the remaining ones before they get out of reach (if memory serves, it should only be Chocobo Dungeon 2 and the King's Field games, which would make Exhuminator enormously happy if I got 'em).

I have a pitifully small PSX collection - only 31. I keep meaning to get more, but my focus has typically been Nintendo or new releases that I'm wanting to play. When I break from that, I typically drift towards Sega's consoles. Poor Playstation tends to get left behind. :( Now that I'm on an RPG kick, though, I definitely need to pick up the pace with my PSX collecting.
