I'm wondering whether this really counts, but for my 10th game I was thinking maybe I could do a linked game of Oracle of Ages/Seasons. I've beaten both seperately, but never seen the true ending for beating both with a linked file. What do people think?

Go for it! It sounds like an awesome idea. Tell us how it changes things.

I have played through a linked file most of the way through on Seasons before, but never finished it. What I'll do this time to change it up is start with Seasons and move onto Ages instead. This time I'll take down that final boss too

I started Broken Sword Directors Cut a few days back. I never really play adventure games for the gameplay (I don't really like it) so I am using a guide when I need it. Otherwise though I am quite enjoying the plot. I just got into the castle in Ireland.

Alright, I've got a tentative list of the ten games I'll be playing over the next three months.

They are:
Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness (or FF Tactics: War of the Lions)
Super Mario Bros
Halo (or Half-Life for PS2)
Portal (PS3)
Persona (PSP remake)
Golden Sun
Gitaroo Man Lives
Dragon Warrior II (or one of Phantasy Star/Final Fantasy)
Panzer Dragoon
Jet Set Radio Future

I might have to change this list due to the high concentration of RPGs on it though. Also have to decide between the ones where I have multiple options. If anybody has any input/suggestions for how to better balance this list I'm open to them.

Whether or not they end up being my 10th game(s), I decided to start up Oracle of Seasons today. It seems I've lost my Linked game on both Oracles cartridges, but I had the original beat files I sent over the links back in the day. Never mind, I started from scratch anyhow so I can remind myself of the changes as I encounter them. Whizzed through the first two dungeons tonight, got the sword, shield, boomerang, shovel, seed satchel and power bracelet.

Beats of Rage
Cave Story
Corpse Party -Rebuilt-
Fallout
Grand Theft Auto Vice City
Half-Life
Indigo Prophecy
Loom
Super Fighter
VVVVVV

^Final list. I swapped out Tyrian which I wasn't too sure of for Corpse Party -Rebuilt- which I'm very excited about. So now my list is officially 10 games I'm really looking forward to getting into. :D

A nice list! You'll love VVVVVV if you haven't played it yet. If I get the time this summer, I may try to finish the game as well. It's still recent in my memory, so feel free to ask questions/yell in anger/jump for joy about/over the game. :D

Also, the soundtrack is hella rad.

VVVVVV is very short. I beat it in one sitting. Decided I didn't care about the medallions because fuck Veni Vidi Vici.
