I'm ashamed to say I haven't even used it yet though  Not sure if I can just put in an SD and have it load or what.

Too many systems, too little time (kinda like how I'm supposed to try out my LynxSD and write up a review...)
That does look neat though I'm only seeing a $45 option?

I only have 228 people between me and a LynxSD. I'm hoping he doesn't fizzle out by then.

I have no one near me who can mod it and my buddy is too lazy to go thru all that again. I will pay for parts and labor. Thanks
Estimate how much it would cost to ship your Wii to and from someone, then take that amount of money and bribe your friend to do it for you.

No worries, I just thought I'd offer that as an easier solutions than sending your console out.

You should post a thread in the BST section for this though, since it's off-topic here.

The $45 option requires soldering (I'm pretty sure), or if it doesn't it's a replacement for the drive entirely so you can't continue using your optical drive for legit games. The one I bought is like... $100ish I think, I forget it's been a while.

SainT seems gung-ho on LynxSD, and I was #50ish so he's pushing through pretty fast. He's said multiple times he doesn't forsee stopping making them any time soon, and he's even pretty sure he'll move on to Jaguar afterwards.

If he peters out before you get it, hit me up, there's a chance I'd part with mine (but not a good one )

I've probably bought my last flash cart for a while, just ordered a Mega Everdrive V2. Should be fun times. :) I'm now covered on the NES, SNES, and Genesis front (and to some extent, 32X and SMS as well).

Also, just so folks know (and to make it relevant to this thread), I ordered from Stone Age Gamer. I had to do a lot of poking around, as I wasn't sure their quality was as good as Krikzz's. Turns out that they get their boards straight from Krikzz, though, so if you need to order from someone in the States, they're a good choice. They're usually more expensive, but for whatever reason I was able to get the Mega ED for $10 cheaper.

Unless you're buying a knockoff (ie: ebay, aliexpress, some shady-looking sellers), every Everdrive is made by Krikzz. Only difference with the various resellers (I've dealt with StoneAgeGamer.com and Dragonbox.de) is the extras they add on. SAG puts some nice stuff on, but it definitely cranks the price up usually.

http://store.krikzz.com is to buy directly from the man himself and should usually have the cheapest prices.

Actually there is an exception to the rule. He did sell some disassembled previous model MD/Genesis kits to a Chinese company who has been selling them for around 1/2 his going rate of the device through aliexpress among other resources. Works perfect, but it can also NOT take a firmware upgrade or it'll brick it. But if you're not hell bent on cheating your ass off with built in codes it's not a loss.

Yeah, I've ordered directly from him for my N8.
