If I build a desktop I will probably buy the PC version. I hear that there is already a good patch out to get better visuals.
Too bad the game barely runs at an acceptable level and probably even has more problems than on console (crashing, etc). Just get it on console. The better visuals aren't worth it. Especially since the framerate issues got ported over, and it's locked at 30 anyway (WHY?).
Uhh. I've heard it runs fine on PC. Not really better or worse than on consoles. But with this mod someone released it will render in higher resolution and look better. I don't think I can make it look that much better with my ultrabook, but I may build a mini desktop PC for Guild Wars 2. And if I do I will certainly try out the PC edition of Dark Souls.

I have it on PC, and I can assure you, there's not really a point. Yes it will render in higher resolution, but, it's still a shitty port that's completely unplayable on the mouse and keyboard (you'll need a gamepad), and has stability and framerate issues. You may as well just get it on console for a lower price. The super-sampling isn't worth the fuss.

I already have the PS3 version as I said in a previous post. And I can easily connect my PS3 controller to a computer. Do it all the time. Price is no concern.

Fair enough, but if you already own it, I REALLY don't see the point then. Your money though.

Is the extra content from the prepare to die edition going to available on the consoles versions anytime soon?

October sixth. How many games these days get dlc a year after release?

I'm planning on starting a new character just to I can have a challenge since all my characters are bottomless box glitched.

Supposedly the prepare to die dlc releases today but the store hasn't updated yet. If someone could post here if it for sure drops today I'd be forever grateful.
