Lion for the most part is the same as Snow Leopard I dont see anything superb about it, then agai n at$30 no need to complain.

The new way of implementing several desktops is much easier than using Spaces back then. Thats about it.

Full screens are great, some GUI tweaking , and the save system kind of sucks to me, u can always save the old way.

Part of what I like about Lion is the fact that I can save the old way, but (using applications that support it) I don't have to worry about it so much. If I accidentally quit something, it's not "Oh fuck, did I remember to save?" anymore.

Wait what?? If you quit and you didn't save, it doesn't prompt you with "hey didja wanna save your changes or...?". Cuz if not, I'm not sure what you're talking about cuz that's a pretty common software thing. :?

Lion uses a Time Machine-esque system (or volume shadow copy on Windows) where it just automatically has past versions of documents. The "save" in that system is "save a version". Explained in detail here.
Of course, since apps need to be compliant, plenty of the big name ones aren't yet (like Office).

That actually seems pretty good. Though I can imagine the files would get pretty big after a while... maybe.

this save system is basically a negative not a positive to me.
Simply because when I run say TextEdit and i quit my friend will be like
"YOU DIDN"T SAVE WTF!"
and I'll be like
"Don't worry, this is NOT the stone age, this is LION! it saves automatically"

then I'll be using office and I'll quit and i will be like
"OH SHIT! IS SOFTWARE LION COMPLIANT? I DIDN'T CHECK!"

point is, its either all software works that way or none using Lion.
Dont confuse the user, ull be amazed how computer illiterate people are
and they don't want to have a hard time figuring if each software saves on its own or not
