in all fairness it helped working for a store that sold snes games, because i would be able to either get the games while i was working, or come in when i wasnt working to find that people who had no idea what they were doing priced things like intel cube(ps1) for 2.50!! its a cool job, still though, super mario rpg and secret of mana are both great games!!

You'll definately have to get Ogre Battle at some point. I personally like to put on Queen 2 when I play, for extra awesome.
My favorite game in my SNES collection is really hard to nail down. Final Fantasy VI a fantastic RPG, and Super Metroid is a total package, but I can't discount the sheer charm of Earthbound. It's definately one of those three.
In terms of rarest, it's probably either Earthbound or Ogre Battle. I'm not sure what the sales figures are between the two, but I do still have my original guide for Earthbound.
Any thoughts on Ogre Battle for the SNES vs Playstation?

I haven't played the Playstation version, but I do know it plays better if you've got a boom box with Queen 2 going. According to wiki it has enhanced graphics in battle (mostly on the spell effects) and a different typeface in the text boxes. I wouldn't be shocked to see some nasty load times, though, as the PSX tended to have in those days.

I have the full snes list of games. Counts all the ones missing from the Nintendo.com list and excludes rarities like MACS and competition cartridges as well as the 1 unlicesnsed game. I think there is around 720+ if I remember correctly.
Ack, PM if interested.

The rarest game I own is a SNES game.
I own 1 of 2 copies known to exist of Final Fight Guy - Black Box.

Yeah, I saw a thread about that over at Digit Press. In fact, somebody mentioned you specifically.
And speaking of Digit Press, I took a second to look through their rarity guide for the SNES and was surprised. Apparently the rarest carts I own for the Super Nintendo are Soldiers of Fortune and Super Solitaire, both of which have a scarcity of 6 out of 10.

There's more than one unlicensed game for the SNES.

You don't count, maximus. Your collection is freaking enormous.

Huh, so I went looking up games I had posted earlier in this thread as rare on the Digital Press list. I was totally wrong on a few. Though I did find that my McDonald's Treasure Land Adventure ties with my other items. I didn't realize it was so rare.

How comprehensive is the DigiPress site, by the way? (I know I could ask there, but meh.) I actually can't find one game in my collection (ZXE-D for PlayStation).
