I've had Amazing Horse stuck in my head for a day now. So I've got it playing for a while in the hope I can flush it out for a while.

Shut up woman get on my horse.

Artist:Plain White T's
Song:Cell Phone Number
I am hooked on this song right now, my favorite part of the song is at the end here are the lyrics.
"You've got my cell phone number,
But you haven't called
You've got it for a reason
So, if you're teasing me,
Make that call."

Sirenia's The 13th Floor Album(Not bad so far)
Leaves' Eyes - Freya's Theme(Damn, this may be their best song)
Dark Tranquillity - We Are the Void album(not sure how I feel about this one)
Sons of Liberty - Brush-fires of the Mind(Essentially the newest Iced Earth album. I like it)

I'm seriously getting into chick fronted metal lately. Listening to a cool Goth metal band from Poland called Unsun. Also checking out Epica's Design Your Universe after hearing the beautfil Tides of Times and White Waters songs. I like the concept of this album too, actually reflects some of my own beliefs

If you like Power Metal, try Operatika.

I hope this doesn't come off as dickish, but what the hell is Gothic Metal? I've looked into it a bit and can't seem to find a satisfying definition like I can find with say, Thrash Metal or Death Metal. I've listened to a Gothic Metal band (at least Metal-Archives says they're Gothic Metal) and their sound is no different than Power Metal.

Yeah, it's sort of a vague subgenre isn't it? I'm certainly not a metal genre expert, but I've heard others call Unsun goth metal so I just went it. I guess when people say goth metal they're referring to lyrical content and visual style(like with album covers, stage get up, etc.), but I honestly don't know. I just know that Unsun is pleasing to my ears. I'll check out Operatika too. Thanks!

Hmm, kind of like Viking Metal (another tag I despise)? I hate all of these psuedo/half-defined Metal genres. Like Neo-Classical Metal? What the fuck is that?
