Once home I discovered the small figure in the box :)
Think it's from Another Code on the DS, anybody any ideas :?:
A lot of those Gundam models, at least from that era, would have a figure of the pilot molded in that cream color.
Ahh, that makes sense, a quick look at the instructions confirms it :)

Thanks Hobie

There are a few independent ('doujin') releases in there, like Cloudphobia, Exceed 3rd and Yatagarasu. That last one is a 2D fighter developed by a former SNK illustrator and one of Japan's top 3rd Strike players, Umezono. I'd never heard of it before, but I spotted it in the store and the screenshots looked pretty impressive. Gameplay is similar to 3rd Strike, i.e. the boxer character plays like Dudley, the grappler plays like Hugo, etc. There are some differences, though. It's not hugely original, but considering the fact that it was made by 3 guys, plus I only paid 300 yen for it (about £2), I'm happy with that. :) Clip here:

Free... Cousin gave it to me over the weekend. Complete with original foam and papers. Nice addition to the collection.

As a side note... I don't play my Xbox often and the one I already have is modded. It runs loud, but I assumed that had to do with the mod. This new one is loud as heck too... Is that just what these sound like? I don't recall them being so loud when I had one as a new unit. Just curious.

I don't recall my own Xbox being particularly loud. Maybe certain revisions are louder than others?

It might be due to the age of the cooling fan. Fans generally get louder and more turbulent as they age and acquire wear. It could also be the result of internal dust in the Xbox, making the cooling fan work harder to cool the system.

Pretty sure you can change the fan speed on a modded Xbox.

Maybe check in the menus if your cousin didn't put them on a higher RPM?...

My pick up video with all the stuff I got at the retro gaming convention in Eindhoven and trust me when I say there are some rare games in there!
