Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Released in the late 90s at most big box stores, they are decent gaming tvs with good sound. I am jealous of your pickup. I had a friend in highschool that had one and it is was pretty awesome back then.

I've made numerous posts about my GX TV - google search "Samsung Gamers TV".
It has a great picture and is EXTREMELY loud. Sevin0seven has one as well.

Thanks for the info guys, found the post about it in the forum. I have a small tv next to me on the couch, so the wife can play modern stuff on the big tv while I game along retro on the smaller one. This may replace it, I just need to see if the thing still performs well.
I would sell it but man shipping would destroy somebody on this LOL. It may go on one of my Wii store Kiosk LOL.

yep....and if anyone remembers i also use this on the Name that Game contest. I love the speakers on this TV (Play it Loud). Also when you play games, make sure you put it on game mode.mjmjr25 wrote:I've made numerous posts about my GX TV - google search "Samsung Gamers TV".

You can also use it for two console link games or a certain Gamcube/GBA game. Now where was that article with Pacman Vs using a GBA player?wclem wrote:Thanks for the info guys, found the post about it in the forum. Forgot to mention also picked up both the Ogre battle games for PS1, paid about 80 but got Super Bonk for free to go with it. Not too bad considering I got the TV dirt cheap today also.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
I've been hitting thrift stores around town for a while and never really had much luck, but today it seems my timing was good. I got:
Luigi's Mansion (GC) $3.99
Dragon Quest VIII $2.99
Drakengard 2 $2.99
Suikoden III $2.99
Final Fantasy X-2 $5.99
Final Fantasy XII $5.99
The Guy Game (PS2) $2.99
Then stopped at EB Games and got Sin and Punishment Star Successor new for $2.99.
I'll probably flip The Guy Game and Luigi's Mansion, hopefully paying for almost everything else. All but those two came with manuals in nearly perfect condition.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Actually I have two of them! The first one is in the living room, the other in the garage. I dont have the original screens for the but anything can be put in its place. The one in the living room has a 40 inch flat panel on it. I have the interior lighting fixture for them both but they need replacement bulbs. It may be easier to replace them with something else though, probably any small fluorescent lamp would work. Truthfully, I would probably give the second one away but it is a definite pick up only. These are big, and heavy. You could build a small house on the floor plate alone LOL.fastbilly1 wrote:Well where are you and how many Wii Store Kiosks do you have?wclem wrote:I would sell it but man shipping would destroy somebody on this LOL. As for the TV, tested it out, works ok but is gonna need someone who knows a little electrical. The left panel speaker if giving off a little bit of noise, though not intolerable. The main issue is that screen from time to time goes lighter or darker for a moment. I did not run it for any real amount of time but this is the only issue I could see with it. Probably a bad capacitor somewhere. It needs more love than I can give it though, so I may seriously let it go to a happier home.
I am in Ohio, right down the road from good ole Cedar Point. If your serious or someone else may want it send me a pm. I may post it over in the BST, just thought I would mention it here.
To make this post legit, I got the following today:
Hey you pikachu CIB $3
Majoras Mask on the 64 $3
I need to start thinning out some stuff, tons and tons of advertisements, posters and DS cases. Going to waste right now, so I may be posting some freebies soon.
