Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Was at one of my normal spots today on a random stop, was going through the controllers and spotted what looked like a Saturn model 2 pad. I grab it up and look, it is branded NEC Grip pad, and is being sold as a genesis controller. For 3 bucks I grab it, this thing looks just like a Saturn pad. Get it home and realize it doesnt have a start button hmm.. Plug it in and nothing
Turns out it is a PC game pad! I have really no use for this, unless there are converters or something for it.
Here is a random pic from google images of it, when I put it next to a Saturn pad, it is like they were almost made from the same mold, same size and everything. It even has 2 shoulder buttons, but they are much nicer than the Saturn ones.

Will it work for PS2?jay_red wrote:Was at one of my normal spots today on a random stop, was going through the controllers and spotted what looked like a Saturn model 2 pad. Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
i actually like it better than the Wii version...control wise. while the Wii graphics are much better overall, i could not stand the wii motion control on this game for some reason. I wished there was a classic controller option switch, but they left that out. so the PS2 port is the answer.prfsnl_gmr wrote:Please also let us know what you think of the PS2 version of Speed Racer. I picked up the Wii version last week, and I was quite impressed with it.

Won't work in a PS2, nice gamepad might be worth doing a mod. The 9 pin is strange considering a PC gameport is 15 pin. Found this:CamaroCam wrote:Will it work for PS2?jay_red wrote:Was at one of my normal spots today on a random stop, was going through the controllers and spotted what looked like a Saturn model 2 pad. vintage NEC GrIP-Pad (Gravis) Grip Pad game pad
Has 9-pin female connector and apparently requires and/or is compatible with the NEC (Gravis) Multiport adapter which allows old PCs to use up to 4 game pads on a single PC. We do not have the Multiport adapter available. We don't have any more information about these game pads but we recommend them only to those who already have the Multiport adapter or who have owned one previously and are familiar with gaming on older computers.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Stopped by Savers today and picked up a Genesis 3 with ac adapter, av cable and controller with Sonic Classics in the cart slot for $20. Then an N64 with everything but a controller was sitting in the case for $25 yet an ice blue controller and a super pad plus next to it were $10 each. I asked about the fact that the genesis came with a controller so why not the N64? They let me have it With the super pad for $30 which I thought was fair. Sometimes I dont get these places. If you even question about something that isnt a number staring right at them they get confused and need to ask seven other employees what to do.
I just be as nice as possible and hope they work with me.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
I just found a Samsung GX television. It has the doors on the front with the speakers built in. I have yet to test it as I just got home. I only paid a fiver for it so hopefully it works. Did a brief search on it and found little info on it. Dont even know if it was worth the five bucks I paid but hopefully it has a good picture on it.
Any opinions on it would be greatly appreciated, as you guys know way more about tvs than I do.
