Same here. I'll be thirty in May. Wasn't I supposed to have my life figured out by now?
33 in less than 2 months. I want to make some sort of joke regarding that age, but I fear it may be seen as blasphemous by some (including at least 1 member I greatly admire) when I would intend it to be light-hearted, so I'll just say I don't have it figured out yet either and leave it at that.

What I have figured out at the ripe old age of 35 is that no one ever has everything figured out, and that is a good thing. What a dull life it would be if we all eventually ended up in some kind of rut where everything was sorted and we were going through the motions.

I've got my life pretty much figured out and I'm enjoying every minute of it. I've got a job I'm doing well at, two adorable kitties, and tons of video games.
The trick is realizing that life just is. There is no magical path you're supposed to be on. Just enjoy the journey wherever things take you.

good thing you had your kittehs there to...comfort you
Just minutes ago got home from the Hobbit Marathon. Battle of the Five Armies is breathtaking. It's everything I could have hoped it would be, honestly. Loved every minute of it, as well as every minute of the other two films.
Ever so slightly bittersweet finally watching the credits finish rolling on Five Armies though... This movie universe has been part of my life for longer than anything else except for my family (and best friend, but a: Only by a few months and b: He counts as family, just without the blood relation). Fifteen years it's been since the first teaser-trailers of LotR came out and TheOneRing.net was just a little podunk site latching onto everything they could find. And now it's finally over, nothing more to wait on. Peter Jackson hasn't released Extended Editions of the first 2 Hobbit movies, I have no reason to expect him to do it now -- I think after New Line understood "Yes really, people will sit through anything you give them with this series" they didn't even bother trying to make him cut down Hobbit, so there's nothing to really Extend. And while yes, Tolkien left a wealth of other stories out there, I don't think anyone really expects anything from Silmarillion or Unfinished Tales to be made into a big-screen movie.
