It's in the 80's here. It sucks to see a salvation army santa volunteer wearing shorts and a t-shirt.

Ticked: Good God the USMNT ends up with the WORST group draw in the World Cup. There's not a snowflake's chance in hell that we can get out of this. I'm all for being underdogs, but c'mon!

Ticked:

So, I don't want to sound like an entitled brat but it absolutely makes me livid when people don't do what they promise they'll do, especially when involving money or other such important things. My tuition was due yesterday and naturally the school takes it out automatically. Normally this is not a problem. My father is "paying" for my college, but in reality it mostly comes out of a savings account we put all my inheritance from my mother in. We set up a schedule for him to give me money each month and I'm free to do what I wish with that. The problem is he never follows this schedule and now it's put me in a nasty spot. I nagged him for several days trying to get him to write me the check. I understand he's super busy. However, now he's on a wonderful vacation in Hawaii and I got stuck with $ -340 in my account, regardless of the fact I gave him a weeks notice. He told me he would transfer what I needed in through an account transfer, and while he did that, it didn't go through till this morning (costing us another $40 in debt fees) and it still wasn't enough. I'm still $60 in the red even after putting my own personal b-day money I was holding onto in, and I have to have this sorted out by midnight. So I guess I'm going to Gamestop and trading in several of my games.

Smile:

Despite the cold it's beautiful out, and my friend's buying me a burger for lunch. This is also the end of the semester effectively for me.

I'm freezing out here. It's in the high 50s and windy as hell. I might even have to break out the ol' hoodie.

Why not nag your Father to set up an automatic transfer? No checks, no hassle, just an online transfer that won't cost him a cent in fees.

Not that you don't already know, but having a negative balance with any bank can crush your credit score. And not just with the bank as college's accounts payable departments are usually filled with a bunch of jerks. Stuff like this can take several years before it's not reported on your credit score. Sorry if I just threw oil on your already burning fire.

Smile: I have six people in so far for a Double Dribble challenge for tonight's get together.

Almost 60 degrees is a sauna. Twenty below with sixty MPH winds is freezing.

I'd assume that's only if it runs in the negative for 30 days or something? I don't think credit gets "dinged" every time you bounce a check or go NSF for a day or three.

That would probably be a good idea.

I also don't care if it takes me longer to graduate, next semester I will be taking a lighter class load and finding a job. I can't have my finances be so unreliable.

It takes only a few minutes. Account and routing number, set the date, and *blam* you're done.

And financial institutions will usually give you a break since you are in college, but it wouldn't hurt for you to start building your credit. Pay on time or be a revolver, having multiple credits won't hurt.

Best of luck man.

My wife randomly sent me one of those wrong number text reply sites, this page in particular had my dying while at my desk.
