Everyone should read The Prince, it's a really great book.Ack wrote:Now I'm debating whether I should send Luke a copy of The Prince...

I look forward to his new posts in the Games Beaten thread. Always something good on the NES or SNES! That's big pimpin enough for me!noiseredux wrote:who the heck is "Luke?" Do you guys mean Big Pimpin?

Can I change my name to Big Pimpin' in the user menu? I doubt the change would confuse anyone.

I'd approve a change to Carlton.Luke wrote:Can I change my name to Big Pimpin' in the user menu? Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

I own a few Tom Jones albums, but I can't dance as well as Carlton by any stretch.Stark wrote: I'd approve a change to Carlton.

Until I can find the solution, I'm currently using Firefox. It was my original choice when I wanted to ditch IE but at the time it didn't support my OS so I just went for Chrome.

Or formal sweatpants style.

Frown: I've got the jitters concerning tonight's event. I'm calm as a cucumber when lecturing, performing music, doing stand up, but I'm as antsy as I can probably get right now.
I'm sure once the event kicks off things will go like clockwork but the anticipation is killing me. I have no clue what to expect, and I always follow the rule of "Always be prepared", but what to prepare when you have no clue what to expect? I don't want to use my corporate business card as there will be career opportunities and I don't have the time to put an elevator pitch on a card that would be printed by the end of the day.
And bringing my resume would probably seem pushy. Plus, who randomly passes out resumes?
Ugh. I think I'll make a highball, relax, and stop dwelling on this. But at the same time I need my shoes polished, a freshly pressed shirt, perfect my speech...This is going to be a lot of work.
Smile: Warning: This is going to sound really lame.
Last night my wife and I read Bunnicula to each other, passing the book chapter after chapter. We read the entire book while in bed, and it was a great way to wind down.
