Re: Random Thoughts Thread
I'm expecting the courier to bring me my first iphone tomorrow, a 5S. I hope I have a good experience with them. My first Android (Galaxy S) was great but the second one (Galaxy S3 mini) I was greatly disappointed with.

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
Now that I have an Android, is there apps/widgets or other things I should look into?
I'm still worried about viruses like I mentioned in the Smile/Ticked thread though.

The reg 6 has a 4.7" screen compared to the 4" on your 4s but it's thinner and I believe lighter as well. If you don't want any larger 5s and 5cs are pretty cheap now. Might even be "free" depending on your carriers upgrade program.Xeogred wrote:Is the normal 6 a better size? I'm still on the 4s, due for an upgrade for sure though. I have to rubber band the charger to stay in.
As for me, 6 Plus will be in my hands tonight! Looking forward to it.

Speaking of smartphones, gosh, what I wouldn't do for a new webOS smartphone. >.> I mean, there's no way it would be made, but I still prefer using my old Pre 3 to any Android/iOS/Windows phone I have tried.
Re: Random Thoughts Thread
I think anything will be an upgrade because for whatever reason, Sprint didn't have 4G available for the 4S. I have no idea what was up with that, but yeah I can't wait for 4G... lol.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:The reg 6 has a 4.7" screen compared to the 4" on your 4s but it's thinner and I believe lighter as well. As for battery life, am I the only one amazed that something as thin as Times magazine would work for 6-8 hours of constant use giving me internet access, HD screen, video, audio, games, and cellphone service?
@Lisalover
I don't know why no one picked up the WebOS it looked like it was 80% there, and visually looks a lot better than android

I love it: I've quite large hands too though.
First phone I've owned where web browsing isn't a chore.
