Arpuhguh? Fffpiss? Bah!
"Shmup" is far more elegant!

I've never understood the draw of transparent consoles or controllers. I mean the inside of that stuff isn't that cool. I'd prefer a cool color to some cheap clear plastic.elmagicochrisg wrote:Yup, those transparent ones look wicked cool... ^^Mechblue wrote:I'm still trying to hunt down a transparent one for a decent price.![]()

I also like to mod things. So it's kinda cool to see how everything sits together inside the casing when it's closed...

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
I love transparent consoles personally.
I have a transparent Game Boy actually (and a transparent GB Pocket, and GB Advance), but it was 2nd hand and needs a lot fo work on it - it currently doesnt power own, there's damage to the battery compartment, the back is missing and so is the border to the front screen. One day I'll try and get it going again.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
I love transparent consoles/handhelds. I'd rather collect those than a console/handheld in a rare "color". For example, if I had to choose between a gold N64 and a jungle green N64, I'd pick the jungle green. I like the look better and it's transparent as well. In fact, I saw somebody post a picture of a transparent 3DS XL and I was like "FUUUUUUUUUUU......I WANT IT NOW!!", until it said it was just an artist's rendering of it. Seriously, If there really was a clear 3DS XL, I'd buy it, RIGHT FUCKING NOW.
But not to go off topic, I purchased Magic Sword for the SNES. Price?
$7.49 (that included shipping) from Half.com
Cheaper than anywhere else online that's for sure.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
so this is kind of funny. My wife has recently taken to gaming like way more than she ever has before. To the extent that she now says that her room (we each have our own room in the house for whatever we want) is now going to be her game room. And also, she says since I'm the Sega collector she's the Nintendo collector. It's really cute. Anyway, she went on the hunt for Wii games today at Gamestop so I added Samba De Amigo (sealed) for $1 and Madword for $3 to her pile. So I guess technically those are her finds. But damn good prices, no?

They're both sub $10 games, but yeah, $4 for both is nice.
Samba is actually quite fun. Not as challenging as the DC version, but fun all the same and new music of course.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Yeah, I personally prefer the Dreamcast conversion, particularly version 2000. I've strayed away from the Wii version due to the negative reception its received. I keep hearing Gearbox handled the port terribly. I'd like to hear from those who have played both ports.mjmjr25 wrote:They're both sub $10 games, but yeah, $4 for both is nice.

Edit! oh, got KOF DM 99 DriKore release for Dreamcast. $20.
