It doesn't matter, it is still a holiday based on family and coming together. Hell, if football is more important than that you need to fix some problems in your family.

I might have issues, but I can sit down and talk to my family without football on the TV to distract me. I really can't understand people liking a sport so damn much.

I find sports different from other hobbies because I see so much more emphasis put on it, and so many people will blatantly deny family gatherings or avoid other important things for football. I don't understand it.
