Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Hey all!

I'm a 24 year old male and my gaming interest started with Alex Kidd and The New Zealand Story on the Master System! And been collecting (mostly the master system) for many years now!
I also still have my very first console and the first games I ever bought for it as a kid!

I love most retro stuff though the Master System is the closest to my heart!

I'm originally from Norway but currently live in the UK and I currently work as a freelance web developer/designer. I also run quite a few sites of my own :).

Hi Racketeers,

After years of lurking I finally took some dutch courage and joined! I feel a bit old, cos I think you blokes are generally 35 or less, but this is the one website I come to every day fuelling more and more interest in retro gaming - case in point since coming across this website my collection has gone up from 2 to...well, a lot more! Just bought a PC Engine console!

Any way congrats on being such a great team, looking forward to contributing although relatively I'm a complete noob!

Welcome new Members!
The Forum is for any game fanatic, young or old everyone has good info to share. You can put the systems you own in your signature like I did. It shows your interest but might give away your age though. :D

Hey guys, my name is Nate. I love playing video games, almost to a fault; some of my favorites are League of Legends, Tales of Symphonia, Star Fox 64, and Super Mario RPG. I wasn't old enough to experience the golden age of gaming when it was new, so I'm playing catch up now. I can't wait to learn a lot and meet some great people.

New Retro Collector

Post by ahammond12 »

Hey everyone,

I have had a few posts here, but wanted to introduce myself!

My Name is Andy, i live in Ontario Canada :D

I have been playing games since i beat super mario world when i was 4 years old. Ever since then I have tried to get my hands on every system i can.

Over the years i collected SNES, NES, Game Gear, Sega Genesis, playstation and the like.

Recently I have been into collecting retro games!

Im really looking for the best ways to acquire games, and i know most of it is just luck and talking to the right people.

If there are any other Torontonians or Canadians on here i'd love to hear from ya!

Thanks!

- Andy

*edit* I will post pics of what i currently have and set up. its not much, but im just starting :)
