What was the last movie you've seen?

I suggest you watch One Million Years B.C. (1966) instead. It was a Technicolor Ray Harryhausen creature feature with Raquel Welch as a cavewoman in a fur bikini.

If you're going to suspend disbelief to watch a dinosaur movie, it may as well be fun and campy.
Ah I remember that movie! Fun. I need to watch it again, its been ages.

And man, Raquel Welch was gorgeous huh? Jeebus.

What do you mean 'was'? She's still gorgeous at 74.

And I haven't gotten to watch that movie in ages. But that's less important than what is coming next week...

Do you mean movies like:

Kuroneko (1968)? My wife and I watched that movie last night, and while it is not quite as good as the brilliant Kwaidan or Ugestsu, it is still a very atmospheric Japanese ghost story. Moreover, the story is deeply romantic (in a creepy way), and like Kwaidan, it often feels like a very elaborate stage production. (That is, it appears to be heavily influenced by Noh productions.) We both enjoyed it veru much, and I recommend it to anyone who is a fan of classic Japanese films.

I love Kuroneko and actually watched it last year for my final film in my horror challenge. I'm looking forward to watching Kwaidan this year.

Nice. I meant to watch Kuroneko last year, but did not get to it for some reason.

Also, and despite one weak segment, Kwaidan is one of my very favorite films, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. (Remarkably, I was able to pick up a DVD copy of the movie from an Augusta, Maine thrift store a few years ago, and I still consider it one of my very best "finds".)

Finally, I picked up a nice, new, Blu Ray copy of Trick 'r Treat (2007) this morning. I have read that some of you like it, and I plan to make it my "Halloween" movie this year.

YES YES YES

One of the best horror films I've seen from its decade. Seriously, watch it.

It's a Halloween staple at our house since it came out. Love it.

I went and saw The Equalizer. It was basically Man on Fire 2: Now With A Happier Ending. Which isn't a bad thing; I loved Man on Fire. I think I'd be afraid to be in a room alone with Denzel Washington, though. And Liam Neeson at this point as well.
