I watched the livestream in the 5 minutes before they would receive word of touchdown. Mission control doesn't look nearly as awesome when it's made up of modern desktop monitors and some laptops. They should still have those old school integrated consoles from the 60's and 70's, just have modern hardware underneath driving those displays.

So my co-worker has the Mario coin sound set for text messages. Original, I know. Some times his phone will just blow up with text messages. Yesterday he got about 15 texts in about 20 seconds. I made the joke to him, "I think Mario just got an extra life." Which made me think...
Wouldn't it be cool if you could set your phone to play a certain sound for text messages, but every 100th text it would play a different message? So you can have the coin sound for texts, but every 100th would have the 1-up sound.
The coin sound is just too generic for me to use, but if I was able to do my idea I would definitely do it.

You're doing it wrong it should be every 10th....100 is way too long to wait for the different one

There is actually a novelty coin box that does do the 1-up sound every 100 hits.
