Picked up a few games today. Top gear 2, mickey's magical quest, super bomberman 2, and actraiser.
I'm gonna be playing actraiser tonight as its the only one of those four I've never played before and it comes pretty highly recommended. I hope to not be disappointed

ActRaiser is a game that is more than the sum of its parts. By themselves, they're just solid, but the light sim and platforming is broken up very well, and the soundtrack is one of Yuzo Koshiro's best.

Ohh boy did I start something on mk. Well I was playing another fighting game called street fighter 2. The original is so slow. Man after two rounds I put in super sf2 and was ok.

Nah, it's just a crappy clone of Fighter's History.

I know it ballz stupid spell check on phone
Re: How Is Your SNES Gaming Going?
And now for a serious post on the subject of a game that is mostly a running gag here
.
Ballz is quite the oddity.
The SNES version apparently uses the DSP chip. Any interesting reason why, or how it differs from the Genesis version?
I'll get to playing them both eventually, as I tend to enjoy even the terrible fighting games.
And then there's the 3DO version...
If I can ever secure a USB drive replacement for a 3DO, I may try that one as well.
Someone should totally do a Racketboy article on just this game... no really. I don't think anyone at HG101 will ever get to it.
In other news, I recently made an online purchase for 10 (working) Super Famicoms. I should receive them sometime in March.
That should quell my fears of not having any backups for failing SNES systems (hoping at least a few models fit in SNES housing, or can be made to fit).
