As a fan of Joss Whedon's work; namely Firefly and Angel. I decided I would go back and watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I am only a few episodes in and so far I am enjoying the series.

I'm almost caught up on the reboot of Hunter x Hunter's 2011 reboot. There was a 60-episode arc that I despised, but other than that it's an amazing show. Super butthurt that they're ending it prematurely.

Wait til you get to season 2, much like Angel did that's when Buffy really hits its stride.

I only read the first parts of both of your posts and immediately thought you were making a joke about Firefly.

Wait... are you finally another rare person that dislikes Chimera Ants as much as I do? lol

Luckily the arc afterwards is awesome again and boy, I just caught up on the manga and it's really setting up for amazingness. Too bad Togashi took another hiatus.

YES. Dude, I have no idea why people love it so much. I feel like the anime itself loses its character in this unnecessary rabbit-hole of plot. No Hisoka? Kurapika? Leorio? Almost-no Phantom Troupe? Gon just sits there for half the arc? ... Then why the fuck am I watching? Honestly, I feel like HxH gets its charm from not being one of the average "My power level is higher, so I win" shonens, and they completely throw that out the window for 60 episodes. (Note that Yu Yu Hakusho is my favorite anime, so I definitely don't have a problem with "Power Level Shonen". But I think shows should be honest with themselves, and Chimera Ants was easily the least "honest" HxH arc, in my opinion.)

Yeahhhhh, I just caught up (with the show) last night. And as soon as CA ended, the show went right back to being awesome. Funny how that works.

I really hope Togashi gets back on it - I love his stuff.

On NetFlix (don't have cable), I've recently binged on the first three seasons of Bob's Burgers (they don't have the fourth yet) and then started again. I've also watched every episode of "Don't Trust the B---- in Apt 23", as well as the first season of "Bates Motel". I'm also currently working on rewatching "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" (currently in the early episodes of Season 2), and started on "Power Rangers Samurai" (first five or so episodes, and then I'm moving on to Super Samurai, Megaforce and Super Megaforce), "Ultimate Spider-Man" (recently started Season 2, and then I'm gonna move on to the other Marvel shows that aired on Disney XD), "Wolverine and the X-Men" and wanna start on "Twin Peaks".

Huzzah! I knew I couldn't be the only adult who still watches Power Rangers. Corny as it maybe, I still enjoy them. I can't say I like the ones with the whole tiki theme to them (Megaforce I think is the one). And some of the girls they get, just wow.

I'm pretty positive Amy Jo Johnson was the impetus for many a young boy's first non-morning wood.
