Metroid Prime: Federation Force. Mission 7 has a two phase boss fight in which the second phase has a super fucking cheap instagib move that can sneak up on you with little to no warning. That kind of shenanigans from a game that's already just okay is more than I'm willing to put up with when I have so many better games to play. I might pick it up later if anyone wants to play co-op with me, but for a solo endeavor, it's getting shelved.
Adding ReCore to my list of games I won't be beating. I got too sick of the damn collectathon at the end. No, I don't want to spend a couple hours hunting prismatic cores just so I can see the end of the game. Go fuck yourself, ReCore; I'm leaving you 95% finished.

With all of the loading-time monsters you keep goin 'on about, you're makin' me really scared to bite the bullet and get next gen Xp
On that note though, it's been very weird playing old Xbox games like Dynasty Warriors and having either no loading times, or loading times that are just a few seconds XP

Yeah, XCOM 2 definitely takes the cake for loading times, but Recore's were pretty bad. Recore's biggest issue, however, is that it just gets boring and monotonous.

So you'd say it's closer to a work-a-thon than a collect-a-thon on the scale of such games? Would you say it's closer to Earthworm Jim 3D in terms of blatant work and not fun, or something like one of the older Jak and Daxters, where it just never really becomes compelling?
