How Is Your SNES Gaming Going?

I remember renting Buster Busts Loose back in the day. I remember playing it with my brother, and painstakingly getting to the third or fourth level. More recently (a few years ago) I finally got a copy for myself. I played through it in something like 15-30 minutes. I was shocked to see how easy it was, and that it's only four levels long. Still, a fun game.

edit: LOL, what do you know. I just Googled "Skyblazer" and the Wikipedia link was purple (I already visited that page). I guess I looked it up already but forgot about it.

Just an AWESOME action-platformer! I heartily recommend.

- Taz-Mania was fun, quit hatin'
- Tiny Toons on the SNES rocks
- Skyblazer is a hidden SNES gem
- Top Gear on the SNES had good passwords (actual words!)
- and yes, I rented Bubsy too. Couldn't get past Level 9, but tried many times!

- I'm the only person here knocking Taz-Mania!
- I still prefer the NES Tiny Toons game, but I haven't played much of the SNES version.

HA! My memory is a fortress!

I was bitching in that thread about getting it for $10+, now the lowest BIN on eBay is $25 plus shipping. I guess I should have picked it up then when it was still hidden. I think the cats out of the bag now, and like all other SNES games, has gone up in price. Oh well. I might pick it up now for $25, before it goes up any higher.

edit: Well, I did it. I got a copy of Skyblazer for $23.99 shipped. And while I was at it, I got myself a MAD-1 copy of Sim City finally. Not the greatest hits version that was made in Mexico. Yes, I'm very particular about my Sim City cart.

MAD-1? Was that the earlier revision you or someone mentioned here? I'm guessing that's the one I have.

Maybe I am starting to realize this. I am very surprised that some people would even argue that 2D platformers are ok. I think I can't even beat Cool Spot. Sonic is more believable but stuff like Ghosts and Goblins , EarthWorm Jim, Batman and Robin, Castlevania, MegaMan, Contra...I have a hard time believing any one beat those games unless like he played a single game for like 3 hours daily for 6 months straight and he has all the patience in the world.

You know I just think you're flat out bad at platformers.

I guess I am...I even tried Bubsy and found it hard. Its just so irritating to play for 2 hours then lose your last life and have to start all over again.
