What PAL games are worth getting?
PAL got Super Fantasy Zone, Alien Soldier and Mega Man: The Wily Wars, Zero Wing and Twin Hawk (Well, I like it a lot anyway but I'm a Toaplan fan) to name a few. Although there's nothing wrong with just getting the Japanese versions of those either.
Also Mega SWIV is alright but I prefer Super SWIV, aka Firepower 2000 on the SNES personally.

I picked up another game on my list, this time it was World of Illusion with Mickey and Donald.
I know this game has a 2p co-op mode. Is the 2 player game different to the 1 player?
As was said it adds some two player puzzles to get through. It's really a fun co-op experience. Had a great time going through it with my girlfriend.

So at the risk of losing some Genesis gamer cred, I have to admit I just played El Viento for the first time this week. I've always been kind of wishy-washy on Wolf Team's contributions so I was never in a hurry to try it.
Holy shit is this game on drugs. It has a difficulty zig-zag instead of a difficulty curve. The graphical quality is all over the place and at times totally puzzling and amateurish. The level design is a complete mess...
But man is it fun. I feel like Wolf Team went, "screw gaming conventions we do what we want" in their best Eric Cartman voice and this was the result. I hesitate to call it a good game but it's certainly entertaining and unique.
I've played a little bit of El Viento and I kinda dug it. Really need to fire that one back up.
I've been playing the original Streets of Rage lately. This is a game that I played for a credit or two and haven't played again until this week. I'm close to the end (Stage 7) and am quite liking it so far. It does feel a little clunky, but not very. I've also been noticing the small incremental changes from the last Beat 'em Up I've played: Double Dragon. Things like being able to both stab and throw your knife, beer bottles breaking after their first use, being able to land on your feet if you're thrown, and the ability suplex your opponents.
I'm never going to beat Adventures of Batman & Robin.....

Well I got the first 2 stages of AoB&R down. Stage 3 is unreal for hardness. I hear it is harder than Mr. Freeze's stage 4.
I'm not going to give up. I hardly beat any games in the 16 bit and 32 bit generations. I'm going to knockout the game that haunted my childhood once and for all.
