Cleared normal with a witch doctor now.

I am not sure what class I like best yet. Witch doctor sucked pretty badly for a while until a got some useful skills, but now he is quite useful.

Also, don't neglect your defenses. If you can get your health and damage resistance up you'll find yourself much more survivable.
Yeah I'm doing better now with Elemental Arrow instead of Rapidfire. lol, doesn't drain my Hatred as fast either.

Beat it. Loved it. Think I'm gonna pace out my Nightmare runs though.

I finally hit level 60 and made it to inferno over the weekend. I've only dabbled a little bit in inferno, though. Everything is MUCH beefier and the rare/champion packs have 4 mods on them, so there's a lot of pain involved.

What's your leveling secret? Should I start playing public games?

Yes. Public games are more fun, IMO. I don't play Diablo games to play alone. Maybe I'll play through single player ONCE to watch every cutscene and pay attention to the story, but that would be it. Otherwise, multiplayer all the time.

Yeah, I was starting to think that's what some of my friends on my list have been doing. My friends brother has a 60 and he was at about 40 hours, now I'm at about 30 hours... level 40. Been solo'ing almost the entire time though, so I guess that sums it up.

I reached 32 and beat the game in ~17 hours on my Witch Doctor. I'd say I did about half co-op, half solo, maybe more on the solo side. I realized about mid-way that the story was complete bollocks and just got on with the demon slaying.

I don't know why people slag on the story so much, I thought it was fine and a notch above typical genre fare.
