Why would you need a Gizmondo? Unlike the N-Gage, 3DO, 32X, CD-i and other bad consoles it lacks good games.

Every system has its merits. Even "failed" ones.KillerJuan77 wrote:Why would you need a Gizmondo? Unlike the N-Gage, 3DO, 32X, CD-i and other bad consoles it lacks good games.

Especially if you're planning on staying in a dorm. You'll need all the money you can get, and a Gizmondo is really a very unnecessary, frivolous purchase at a time like that.Opa Opa wrote:Save money for books; not for a Gizmondo.lisalover1 wrote:Ticked: Got outbid on another Gizmondo on EBay today. No. This thread has to move on. Please do some research about the console and then form your own objective opinion.KillerJuan77 wrote:Mention me 3 merits of the Gizmondo, for what I've read and seen the only great things about the machine are the GPS and the WMP9 enhanced music player.

Congrats, lisalover, on getting the dorm you like. Hope you have a fun time at your university.

1. Incredible conversation piece.KillerJuan77 wrote:Mention me 3 merits of the GizmondoOpa Opa wrote:Every system has its merits. Even "failed" ones.KillerJuan77 wrote:Why would you need a Gizmondo? 2. Lots of neat homebrew and emulators.
3. A bunch of interesting unreleased games that have been leaked.
4. A laundry list of neat features. (Camera, 2G Cellular Data, GPS, Text Messaging, Web Browsing, etc.)
5. Can run a full version of Windows CE.
Hmm... I guess that's five.
