Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I'm thinking a thread called "Things devs should be punched in the face and crotch for" would be great.

No purpose for sliding tile puzzles in action games. I'm not alone in my hate for them.
Other genres exist like shmups, brawlers, action-adventure, survival horror, racing games, etc. Rpgs are boring to me. Very simple.
Consoles existed before PS3 and Xbox. Lots of them, actually. There's also tons of portables. With thousands of games to play for them. Without the need for big, boring worlds or being online. They just don't interest me. Very simple.

Anything which causes the controls to suddenly flip around, so left now goes right or up or something like that. Or buttons remapping in specific parts of a game for some reason, after I have spent time building up the muscle memory of how to perform certain commands. These things always frustrate me.Exhuminator wrote:I'm thinking a thread called "Things devs should be punched in the face and crotch for" would be great.

I don't know...I think that this is one of the best levels in any game. (It took me almost 400 attempts to beat it, but I loved every minute of it.)Ack wrote:Anything which causes the controls to suddenly flip around, so left now goes right or up or something like that.
