Just to be pedantic, Vectrex is a proper noun, so you don't change any spelling when pluralising it. I'm fairly sure it should be Vectrexes.fastbilly1 wrote:Probably, but I prefer Vectri.aaron wrote:it'd be vectreces.

I am sure you are right, I just think Vectri sounds cooler.alienjesus wrote:Just to be pedantic, Vectrex is a proper noun, so you don't change any spelling when pluralising it. I'm fairly sure it should be Vectrexes.fastbilly1 wrote:Probably, but I prefer Vectri.aaron wrote:it'd be vectreces.

AJ's version has T-Rexes in it, that's gotta be better.fastbilly1 wrote:I am sure you are right, I just think Vectri sounds cooler.alienjesus wrote:Just to be pedantic, Vectrex is a proper noun, so you don't change any spelling when pluralising it. I'm fairly sure it should be Vectrexes.

Just when I was getting bummed I sold my copy of FFVII I picked one up at a garage sale half a block from my apartment and of course only disc 1 looks played
Myst, Blastosomething, FFVII(black label) = $1
Local game store sold me Harvest Moon 64 for $25 which I would consider a pretty good deal from what I've seen it go for as of late.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Here's the back story behind this one...
About a month ago I found an ad for a couple of decent computer-consoles on craigslist. However, the seller lived just a bit out of my "acceptable driving range" so I decided to pass. This week I'm on paternity leave - I guess both mommy and baby got sick of me as I was told to "take a hike." I decide eff it, I'll email the seller and take a nice long drive out to the woods of Maine. To my surprise, the seller tells me she'd be willing to meet me at a church ten minutes from my house. Why a church? Because the seller was a nun! Here's what I got from the Sister for $50 total...

Found a Dazzle DVC-101 video capture device at Goodwill for $1.50
I just tested it using my SNES to my Win 7 laptop. Works great with solid framerates! I used virtualdub. Now I can finally get some decent video captures done. Probably works best on the PS2 (and older) generation of consoles.
None of that fancy HD stuff

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
My aunt moved out of town. She loaded me down with a ton of stuff. A few Items were gaming related. Nothing super special, but it was free and some of it is pretty cool. I also got a bunch of stuff not pictured (file cabinet, dvd player, cd player, couple of old towers that I am going to try and get running and put in the kids room, couple flat screen monitors, etc) I think i made out pretty good

Nice find on the retro computers, these can also plug into the big screen as a "game console".BoneSnapDeez wrote:<8 Bit Computers>
The monitor has SVideo in the back, just needs an adapter cable to the Chroma Luma RCA connections.
I don't know what Commodore was thinking on the Plus 4 and 16 series computers, they already had the VIC20 to fill the lower priced market. If I remember right, some of the connections did not match the C64/VIC20. Still, a good collectable since it much harder to find in comparison to the C64.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Even though I won't get too much use out of the C16 I'm still happy to have it. I'm really interested in trying that Ghosts n Goblins port.
Now to find a VIC-20 and Amiga...

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
According to the list, the C16 Ghost Goblins has been cut down. Does the game have anything unique compared to other ports? The C16 is definitely different, probably one of the more obscure computers that will be on your shelf. Anything you want to know about Commodore, hit me up. Own a few, but not an Amiga nor the C16/PLUS4 line. The Commodores posted in my signature include a SX64 transportable and an Educator 64 which is a C64 PCB inside a Commodore PET shell.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Even though I won't get too much use out of the C16 I'm still happy to have it. If you ever get a VIC20, two games that are very well done and instant load as game carts.
Omega Race with a game paddle and looks better then the C64 version
Sirius Type Attack larger fonts are perfect in the 22 column screen.
