I'm defiatetly a regular, I uby something from there at least once a week, plus I've spent over $1000 total there. ($1000 because I bought my ps3, 360, and Wii there plus 40+ games total) I guess they aren't allowed to hold stuff period.Hobie-wan wrote:Maybe the guy was a regular too. When I worked at the anime store, if a random person called about some new release we'd gotten within the last few days, we might hold something an hour. If it was a good regular customer or something that was older, we'd probably hold it a week or two.pepharytheworm wrote:Gamestop has no hold rule where they have to hold, some just do it out of kindness. When I was a Store Manager I would hold but only for 24 hrs and not on new releases.classicgamer5 wrote: Your gamestop will hold games for people?! Mine won't

Well that sucks then. I guess the question is whether they recognize you or your name. *shrug*classicgamer5 wrote:I'm defiatetly a regular, I uby something from there at least once a week, plus I've spent over $1000 total there. Ah well. Sure you'll find a copy eventually.

I don't know where to post this, but I feel like I need to tell someone, haha.
Man the Japanese rarities that have ended up in Korea can be surprising. If I so chose I could get my hands on both a Panasonic Q and a Fuji Divers 2000 CX-1 (Dreamcast TV).
Panasonic Q is priced pretty reasonably (180,000 krw = $153.00).
The Fuji Divers 2000 CX-1 on the other hand is 700,000 ($595.00 usd), but I have no idea what it comes with. I know it originally game with many great goodies. I'd probably be able to negotiate each price a bit, but damn just surprised to see them. There is actually a second Panasonic Q that has a box, but I'm told the system is broken.
I imagine I can get some good deals on Japanese items being under priced, but I have no idea what to look for outside of the holy grail level stuff.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Although I didn't buy it, as it was in a silent auction, I did bid on it. I'll know if I won it tomorrow.
They had this really slick (working!) tabletop Super Mario 64 pinball table. I've never seen anything like it. I'll post pictures of mine if I win it
This is a picture of what I found via google.

Here's to hoping I win!
